Pierogies
This is my great-grandmother's (or earlier) recipe. My mom says their family was German, but I do not think they all were.
Step 1:
5 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
(work all of the above with hands)
1 cup milk
1/2 cup water
(work with hands until gummy)
Let it sit for an hour.
Roll out dough / cut into circles / stuff with mix, and seal it tight.
Boil Pierogies until they float (about five minutes), then drain and butter.
